American Sentry Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in the Baltimore area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. American Sentry Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We had solar installed, and suffice to say that it was a miserable and very costly experience a few years down the road. If I could I would give them ZERO stars. If you want solar signup for a company that has a field of panels. Don't compromise your roof, and the health of your home. And after several phone calls and requests to be on the DO NOT MAIL list, we keep getting postcards. Such a disrespectful company.

I have been a customer since February 2026. The panels were installed in April. The pros: -Installation was completed in a day -They handled all the permitting -It was about 2 months total from signing up to getting the panels on the roof The cons: -Extremely pressuring sales pitch. The salesman said they expect a yes or no at the end of the meeting. I had received other quotes before so I was alright with singing up but this is predatory practice to allow no time to review documents after the meeting. -The crew did not get enough pictures when they installed so they had to come back out a cou

Beware of this company , they promised to save you money on your energy bill and it's straight lies!!!

When I purchased, I was told I’d get an $8,000 rebate from Delmarva Power and after installation the rebate changed to $5,040. This change was Delmarva's fault, not American Sentry Solar's fault. Though I'm not happy about the loss in rebate money, the company has agreed to split the difference with me in an attempt to make it right. Overall, I could not be happier with the job that was done on both the roof replacement and solar install.

This team is highly responsive and very thorough I spoke to Jonathan and he was patient and kind enough to answer all my questions

So far so good! The scheduling staff have been great; and were very helpful in providing appointment reminders. Jonathan in sales was extremely knowledgeable. He traveled quite a distance to see us. He arrived promptly, and took all the time we needed to answer any questions. He also followed up to see if we had any further inquiries about the process. As I write this, the surveyor is on the roof to do the engineering study. He’s very nice and has been respectful of our property. He was good with our dogs too. I will make updates as we continue with the installation. 7/24/26: The installation

A great experience from beginning to end. Excellent customer service from everyone I came into contact with. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend American Sentry Solar.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“be saving in no time. Comprehensive Warranty Our solar panels come with a 25-year…”

• Better Business Bureau

“installers nationally, as well as an A+ rating with BBB. Operations include, but are…”

Its website also mentions established and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
