  We had our solar system installed by Renewable Energy Solar about 2½ years ago, and our experience has been consistently disappointing. During the sales presentation, we were given very specific projections for cost savings and energy production. I still have those numbers, and they turned out to be completely inaccurate. Our actual results fall far short of what we were told to expect. The installation itself took several months longer than promised.   We are coming up on our second year now and I don’t think we’ve saved a dime. Advised previously that everything’s working fine . Worst decision we’ve ever made. With financing we will have paid $72,000 Over the next 20 years. We were advised that it would pay for itself. What a nightmare.

  **UPDATED REVIEW** The process was slow for us, it took almost 6 months from February when they started working on our project to be allowed to switch it on in Aug. Failed electrical panel inspections two times but REC came out and explained the situation and worked with the inspector to get it resolved. However, I would say we made our decision too quickly on the company and the project. We should have read the Yelp! reviews as they mirrored our experience especially on the selling side of things.
