Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Baltimore area. Across Maryland, 56 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 275 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

On the Maryland ranking

The strongest review record in Maryland →

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in the Baltimore area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★10%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Baltimore area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Solar-Verse is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

  • 2★ · around November 2025 · the company replied

I hired Solar-Verse to handle my solar installation. Their main sales pitch was that they would take care of all the paperwork for the Maryland government incentives. However, once the installation was completed, they disappeared and stopped responding. I ended up trying to complete the paperwork myself but was denied. I strongly recommend staying away from this company.

I received a cold call pitch from solar verse. They seemed dishonest and were using deceptive language and fear to pitch the sale. Yes, energy bills go up every year it is called inflation. They claimed to be a local company to NY.

Compared multiple companies with Solar-Verse and this was the best overall value. They explained the entire process thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Christian was very responsive and made sure everything was executed properly. 12/10 recommend!!!!

I had a great experience working with Christian. Detailed explanations of everything I had questions along with excellent communication. Happy with the results and I’d refer them to anyone considering solar installation.

Great solar company, would strongly recommend. Explained everything and walked us through the process start to finish. Fast installation. Everyone has been so pleasant to work with and very professional. I would like to point out Christian Whitcher who has been so helpful and made the process very smooth. Overall I could not have been happier and glad we went with this company.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“Locally owned & operated 0% down financing available 5.0★ from 250+ reviews What we do…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, insured and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
