One of our 3 inverters went bad summer of 2025 still under warranty. Contacted SES in October. They sent someone out 3 times and said they were working on getting the replacement inverter. Finally scheduled to replace it in April 2026 then sent email saying they had to reschedule and would update us in 2 weeks. Never heard anything. After sending them multiple emails and phone calls with no response. Still nothing. Today, July 1st 2026 i called their number 2 times and got voice message that voicemai is full. Having that bad feeling that they are no longer in business. Found out they went out

Title: From High Hopes to Ongoing Headaches – A Cautionary Tale We purchased an ~84 KWp solar unit in 2019 from Solar Energy Services, Inc., drawn in by the promise of seamless, maintenance-free performance for the next 25 years—warrantied through 2044. We paid a premium because we wanted to do our part in keeping the planet green, and the owners (Lisa & Rick) made a great impression at the time, arriving in shirts with catchy slogans like “Sunshine’s a wasting.” We signed with confidence. Unfortunately, the years since have been anything but seamless. Early on, the owners tried to help, but t

Will not service equipment or sell parts unless you bought your equipment from them. They are not an independent service shop, nor will they recommend an independent service or parts seller. Update response to owner: Will not remove the post. The feedback is valid. I did service in multiple industries. HVAC, plumbing, electric. It is common place for a service shop to provide service. When a service shop asks what equipment you own then flat out denies service they are not a service shop, they are an install shop or up to other weird decision making that is not customer service oriented. I cou

Solar Energy Services did an outstanding job diagnosing and replacing a faulty inverter and getting our system back online. The warranty support was exactly what you hope for: fully covered, with both the replacement equipment and the service handled smoothly and professionally. Megan Coughlin, Service Department Manager, was supportive and responsive throughout, kept me updated, and helped move scheduling along as soon as the inverter was delivered. On site, Mr. Nisim Evans (Lead Tech) and Mr. Ian Harris were terrific. They were clearly experts and incredibly knowledgeable, worked efficiently

Brendan and Kabir did an exceptional job at installing our EV charger. These two work well together and kept me in the loop when needed to ask my preferences for the mounting of the equipment. The job came out super clean. Both technicians are great communicators and represent your company very very well. Extremely happy with this experience!!

This was one of the best decision I have made this year. I had the greatest experience with Solar Energy from the beginning of insulation to the completion of my solar panels. The team of people, the insulation team and the manager were exceptional. They were informative throughout the entre process. They were very considerate and respectful. They installed the solar panels like a smooth oil machine. I have no regrets about choosing Solar Energy. The icing on the cake was my reduced electic bill.. My BILL DECREASED BY $125. I RECEIVED BY FIRST BILL THIS MONTH AND IT WAS $9.95! All I can say is

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“suits your requirements best. These financing options include: Operating Leases Capital…”
  • Warranty

“as one day. Your satisfaction is guaranteed! Rick Peters - President and CEO…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, 24/7 availability and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
