If you are installing solar panels, do not do business with this company. Solar panels are advertised as saving you money over regular electric power. Well, when you get charged $300 labor fees anytime something breaks, you are no longer saving money, now you are paying more. I have a contract with Standard Energy Solutions that details a 10 year warranty. There are no labor fees detailed anywhere in the contract at all. Despite that, they are requiring me to pay a $300 fee just to have someone come to my house, plus $100 an hour to replace a broken Inverter, a part that is covered by the warr

Avoid this company and their solar panels at all costs. One of my panels stopped reporting for seven days, which they blamed on the weather even though we had clear skies most of the week and this had never happened before. The issue only got addressed after I personally emailed Mikayla Davis when I caught it, and even then, the response felt dismissive. Because the microinverters failed to report for a full week, I ended up with an unusually high energy bill. When I asked if they could at least offer a credit for the downtime, I was flatly told no. I also have no confidence they would have ev

I have been waiting for a call back from this company regarding the solar panels they installed and have yet to receive a call back. This is by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received. They use a third party to take their calls who are not capable of assisting their customers whatsoever. I’ve left them with voicemail with absolutely no call back. DO NOT USE THEM.

First off, they put the solar panels on crooked. By enough that if you were looking you'd notice. Doesn't effect their efficiency or how well they worked, just disappointing with the price tag. Customer service required a good 2-3 emails per response. They are doing so many installations, that it makes sense that customer service would slack. You need them more than they need you. The panels were installed late spring in an afternoon and then couldn't be turned on till late summer due to permitting issues. The company made that right by compensating for the missed kwh's, so I don't hold that a

standard is awesome. So thankful for them. Great job team.

The company was recommended by a realtor/broker, Ron Golansky, who basically scammed me into purchasing these solar panels and a lot of them with a high-interest loan and promises of a new roof. I am a Service member and was stationed outside of the country. Let's just say I had roof leaks, and these solar panels are not worth it because I still have a high electric bill. I contacted Ron Golansky and Bradlee M. Eugenio, Founder & CEO, who I believe changed their name to Executive Power to get away from the negative responses for their poor service. I asked for a receipt of what I paid for and

I appreciate doing business with Standard Energy Solutions. They did a great job on the installation of my solar panels to my home. The look is very efficient. Customer service is great and that I absolutely appreciate. Thank you again Shawna Foulger for being a great sale person, point of contact, and excellent customer service. Pricing is great and what I’ve saved in energy is far more than what I expected. So far my overall experience with Standard Energy Solutions is a pleasure. As far as I’m concerned job well done.

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Established
“in the Mid-Atlantic region. Since 2004, our team has been on the leading…”
Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.
Elsewhere
- It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
