Apollo Home Power LLC

Each mark is one company we hold in La Jolla whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Apollo Home Power LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

When the installers arrived, I questioned the location they had chosen for the batteries. I had talked to the people drawing the plans and they had told me that a three foot clearance from entry was required. They said I was wrong and continued with the installation. Obviously, I had no idea what I was talking about...right! The inspection team came out and there was a problem. SUPRISE! The Inspector said that one of the batteries would have to be moved and stacked on another...Wait for it. This was to get the three foot clearance from the entry point. Would you be happy with the install. Also

Now that it has been 2 months since the battery installation I can give a pretty good assessment of the entire battery installation and operation. First off the installation. The installers were supposed to arrive between 8 and 10 AM but they didn't arrive until 12:30PM. 11 hours later they were finished. The next day, I noticed that the door on the circuit breaker panel was partially open. When I lifted the door I noticed that the panel was not pushed in all the way because they didn't tuck the wires in, leaving wires exposed along the edges. I also noticed that the latch was broken. I called

I wanted not to run the conduit over the roof. Instead it should have gone through the attic. The workers said they couldn't do it but in reality they didn't want to do it that route. So now I have an ugly noticeable conduit running over the roof. Also smokers left cigarette butts around the work area and one of my newly planted bushes was crushed. The lables to the circulation breaker box are mixed up. Number 14 wires are going to 20 amp circuits and the number 12 wires are going to 15 amp circuit breakers. There is quite a mess that must be corrected before the inspector comes!

Michael the Contractor and Mike his Electrician are great. They return calls and answer questions.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
