Its one and two star share is 8 points above the typical installer in the La Jolla area. Across California, 489 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 66 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in the La Jolla area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. EMPWR Energy is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Tell your employees to stop soliciting in neighborhoods that specifically say no soliciting on each entrance.

Total scam. They came to my door even after I said do not solicit and there's a big sign where you ring the doorbell and they try to pretend they were with SDG&E. You lose all trust and credibility when you do that. DO NOT DO PPA if you're reading this. It's a 20-year utility lease. If you can't afford to buy or finance the panels. The PPA is not going to be any better for you financially. You're absorbing tremendous amount of debt and putting a title lien on your property. Beware of solar scammers. Do your research before you do anything. This is one of the many companies in San Diego going a

I'm surprised they have five stars, I look at the reviews on Yelp and other sources and it's not five stars, I have a $90,000 job they're supposed to start today and they canceled a couple hours when they're supposed to come out and start. I wonder if I went with the right company. If I need service done on my system in the future are they going to cancel on me then. I'm not even recommending them to anybody now with this experience we had. Not a good start We had another home that started same time as one I just mentioned $70,000+ for this project. Well, come to find out they undersized it. W

I was skeptical about going solar from day one because of the initial cost when I was first approached by another company last year. Kimberly and Brett were very helpful throughout the entire process. They took their time to answer all the questions I had. I went solar without any out of pocket cost and now have a lower bill. I look forward to running my ac more often and not having to worry about Edison charging an arm and a leg. Kudos for hiring these two!

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
