Autonomous Energies

Every company we hold in New York whose Google breakdown has been read, grouped by their share of one and two star reviews. Autonomous Energies is in the highlighted group.

Why do they call themselves Autonomous Energies? They don't sell any Autonomous Energy. Seems scammy to name yourself something better than what you sell. In which is solar panel installed and solar management software. Going to be even more embarrassing when Autonomous Energy comes out and take solar and wind out too.

Adam installed a residential rooftop solar system for me several years ago, and when I had a recent issue with the software on my gateway, he came out and spent a few hours on the phone with the software company getting it sorted. It was refreshing to see someone maintain that level of commitment - it’s the type of thing that builds trust. Thanks, Adam!

Adam Katzman and his team created a solar panel system that works well, and is pleasant to look at, even on a very difficult roof. Communication was thorough, and all our questions were answered. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Autonomous Energies and Adam Katzman are superbly knowledgable about solar panel installation, wiring and working with Central Hudson. In the most timely and courteous manner, the company dealt with all the details, including our concern for the aesthetics of the installation. Our 20 panels are producing twice as much power as we are consuming. The real test will come during the Fall heating season. We'll keep you posted.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“lay out a system design, illustrate financing options and walk you through all the…”

• Warranty

“professionally installed, our work is guaranteed, and our panels carry a 25 Year…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Kingston is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
