Long Island Power Solutions

Each mark is one company we hold in the New York area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Long Island Power Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

I dealt with Henry Larosa and installed panels 3 years ago. He assured me that I won't need more than 12k kilowatt per year. My electric bill did not go down. When I called him back, he never pick up the phone, then he blocked me. The company told me that everything works, and I just need to add more panels.

My system is just shy of 3 years old and I have already lost significant production on my panels. To be fair, my usage has gone up about 10% but I was told the system was built to withstand the increase. The company is non-responsive and zero help when it comes to servicing my system. The next step may be filing a law suit for misrepresentation. The proposal I have is nothing close to the results that were promised.

LIPS / NJPS did not prepare the necessary paperwork for solar program incentives they had advertised to me (SuSI), and after installation have ignored multiple requests to do so (though it can easily be done retroactively and they already have all the info). They also demanded payment for the system before it was inspected (illegal), and lied to me that it had passed to get payment when one inspection was deferred and needed to be followed up on. The system itself is completely fine, but all they care about is payment and literally 0 about the customer

I had a great experience with Long Island Power Solutions. They were super efficient and professional from start to finish. Matt was awesome to work with. He answered all my questions promptly and walked me through the whole process. Thank you to the whole team for making the process so easy and seamless.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Joe Gallozzo was personable, informative and friendly. The crew was punctual, professional, and did a quick and neat job. Highly recommend!

I reached out to LI Power Solutions in early May 2026 to get an estimate to add a solar array to our home to offset our electrical usage. I had a meeting with Joe Galluzzo and he explained everything very well and answered the ton of questions I had. From the start, Joe really understood what I needed. I have a steep roof, run my AC heavily during the summer, and charge an electric truck overnight. Instead of just giving me a cookie-cutter quote, they custom-designed a massive 15.64 kW system that perfectly offsets my heavy usage. The installation and administrative side was just as impressive

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“on Long Island NY will offer financing options and have formed relationships with…”

• Warranty

“installation comes with a 25 Year Warranty! Solar works year-round. With net…”

• 24/7 availability

“generators. Ongoing aftercare with 24/7 technical support. Start with your…”

Its website also mentions free estimate and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and X. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
