Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in the New York area. Across New York, 103 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 29 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Your drivers are a danger to the public. This morning, a small silver work truck driving eastbound on the 287 was driving erratically, using shoulders and merging lanes to bypass traffic. You have been reported to the DOT. UPDATE: It is the same logo. Just because you only operate in NYC doesn’t mean one of your workers doesn’t live across the river and gets to take his work truck home.

This company hires lowest quality workers and they have nothing but bad attitude. Blocking driveways because they can't park across the street and not a word of apology or anything in that matter. Nasty ppl wouldn't recommend these types around your home

I’m incredibly frustrated and completely dissatisfied with how this company has handled my bill and the overall service experience. The situation has become unacceptable, unprofessional, and far below any reasonable standard of customer care. From day one, their representatives made promises they did not keep, provided inaccurate information, and failed to follow through on even basic communication. I was told [what they promised you], but instead I’ve received delay after delay, endless excuses, and a total lack of responsibility from their team. Customer service has been unresponsive, incons

Even though I didn't purchased anything , The rep named Nevin was extremely knowledgeable and answered my questions with ease. Maybe in the near future I'll have a second opinion, but for now I'll keep Nevin on my contact for future references.

Nevin was great, was super professional and knowledgeable.

My experience was great. Nevin was very helpful!

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“fee for your solar system. Cash & financing options available Thank you for reaching out!”
  • Warranty

“homeowners including a workmanship warranty, roof penetration warranty, panel…”
  • Free estimate

“your long term goals. Reach out for a free quote to discover which payment option is…”
  • Established

“New Yorkers lower their energy bills since 2009. We believe that solar energy should…”

Its website also mentions family owned and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
