Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in the New York area. Across New York, 94 of the 247 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 30 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Beware - The worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I was lied to by the sales rep. I was called repeatedly when I didn’t want to go through with this they were going to hit me with ridiculous amounts of fees. Once you sign you are stuck unless you want to pursue legal action beware without a doubt the shadiest company and now I’m stuck with them for 25 years

Top notch. Totally takes care from start to finish. You'll be saying why didn't I do it with this company a decade ago.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Our representative, Tim met with us about a month or so ago and walked us through the ins and outs of solar. I have to admit , I was very skeptical at first as I have had many companies come to the house and try and sell me solar but this time felt a little bit different. He took the time to educate us about solar in a very down to earth way. The install crew was time expedient and very courteous. They arrived at 8am and left at 1:30pm. If you are tired of a high electric bill, call NY State Solar and ask for Tim.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
