Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Honolulu. Across Hawaii, 40 of the 87 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 344 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Honolulu whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Battery Bill's is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Sold me a junk battery for my scooter for the same price as the dealer. I came here to support local but they didn’t support me. do not recommend for specialized batteries or scooter 🛵 batteries. …

I am writing this to complain more specifically about an individual, and not the company as a whole. I was very disappointed with the service provided to me on 4/28/26. I had spoken on the phone with a different member of the staff 3 weeks earlier and decided to reserve an item that was back ordered. That experience was great and he was very friendly and nice about helping me choose the unit I wanted. Last week I get the call from the same individual I saw today, that my item is ready for pickup. So I go down there today and the young boy at one of the checkouts proceeded to tell me that I had

My battery from here stopped working after 2 months

Got new battery for my phone. Charges faster, but still only lasts a few hours. Don't know if the battery was new or had been laying around a while.

Very few parking spots. When it gets busy, it takes awhile to find parki g at the place or nearby. Great customer service though.

No parking and long line because post-hurricane, but they had what I was looking for.

I called over the phone to get a quote on a car battery, then took my car in to get a load test done. A new battery was installed, they also checked if the alternator was charging. Pleasant employees.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
