    I have a “No Soliciting” sign on the front of my house but had a Malama Solar salesman knock on my door anyways. I have small kids and appreciate people respecting the sign so my kids don’t get woken up.

    pushy salesperson that had no brochures, cards or information. Told.him I would look online and do some research and kept talking. Came back the next day and tried again. Said No, he kept talking, I had to tell him no and ask him to leave. He left but that pushy-ness doesnt fly with local families. If he did that to my wife I would've had to have some words. I know he has a job but he pushed that its a local company. Locals dont do this to each other.

    Feb 22, 2025 Update: system is still broken. BEWARE OF MALAMA SOLAR! The owner, Chris Ah Sue, is the new Mike Miske of Oahu. Do not be deceived by Malama Solar. Malama solar will install faulty parts, punch hole through your roof for non-functioning solar panels, ignore all of your calls, and take your money. They are FRAUDSTERS! There are so many other options for home solar on the islands, do NOT use Malama Solar, no matter how slick they may seem in their sales pitch. They have made no attempts at repair of my broken system. They take no responsibility for their horrible service. I would gi

    I had my solar panels installed .. but no response yet form them …and this process started if I’m not mistaken august last year .. I don’t know till when are we going to wait to finalize everything
