    Sunspear went from 5 stars to 1. Phase 1 install went smoothly, new battery installed in July 2025 to replace a smaller battery to be used elsewhere (Phase 2). Problem #1, your electrician removed WITHOUT my permission or knowledge till after it was removed, the generator outlet/plug saying "you won't need this anymore" told him that is a back up, again said "you won't need this anymore and walked away. (low and behold Kona Low hit, battery lasted 8 hours, we were out about 30 hours, no way to hook up the generator which was the main reason we had that outlet installed in the first place). Sun

    Sunspear took over our previous solar company, they came out to troubleshoot our solar panels in October of 2025, we were informed that an inverter would need to be ordered and replaced. The last communication we received from Project Manger Ann Dang was in December. Emails were sent to them for a follow up that came with no response. We called Ann's office a few times with no answer and no return call. We are now at the ending of February and she has still not returned a single phone call or email. We called the office on the 11th of February and was told by the person who answered that they

    Horrible customer experience trying to get questions answered and get a fair price. I chose to go with another company who was Hawaiian owned in the end.

    Mahalo to the Service Team (Ann, Kalai & Blaze). They were always prompt in their replies, thorough in explaining and I am very happy they took care of my issues.

    I am still so impressed by Sunspear! They installed our system 1-2 years ago. They learned about a recall in the Tesla battery and contacted me and installed the new Powerwall quickly and free of charge. They also made sure the new equipment was hooked up correctly to my apps. They are the best company!
