  I'm a repeat customer. The 2nd time around, I dealt with project manager John again. He will give you a reasonable deal but the company in general is not so efficient, if there is a question or a problem with the system it might be awhile for them to get back and or you'll have to keep calling back.   *Update 2/28/2025 (6 years later) I really thought I had moved on until whoever the person responding is decided to lie about my review! The fact of the matter is that I DID call a long time ago after a spate of their commercials being all over the TV like a cheap suit. I finally decided it was a good deal and that's why I called and talked to the worst receptionist in the world, from what I remember. Now this guy has the nerve to come back here and say that it my review is fake when it isn't, LOL! To the genius who decided to respond to this 72 months later, you know Google sends the reviewer

  Our solar water heater was leaking in May and we called Solar Help Hawaii based on Yelp reviews. A service technician came out and told us we would have to replace the tank AND the panel. He was on site for 30 minutes max. We just received a bill dated August 7, 2022 for $89 for a service call on May 19, 2022. I understand that no one comes out to give a free estimate, but it should not take almost 3 months to send a bill. Make sure you know what costs are involved and when and if you will be invoiced. BTW...we called a different company and the service technician replaced the water heater and

  Solar Help Hawaiʻi gave great support. Chaleigh helped me troubleshoot my solar water heater through text and stayed patient the whole time. She asked clear questions and guided me step by step. Another vendor fixed the final issue, a stuck mixture valve, but she still checked in afterward to make sure everything worked. Real aloha in their service. I appreciate the help.

  I'm a realtor and my seller has solar panels installed by a company that has since gone out of business. I called so many places to get someone to inspect and service the panels and they all said they "don't inspect someone else's install." Solar Hawaii is the only company I could find that would do it and the customer service is phenomenal! All my questions answered, even after hours. Very fair pricing and didn't try to sell us anything. I will recommend them to all my clients. *Chaleigh, the owner, went above and beyond!!*

  Used Solar Help on a friend's recommendation and glad I did! They did 3 projects for us: removed and reinstalled existing PV panels so we could expand our house, replaced the existing solar water system, and installed a 2nd solar water system. In all 3 jobs the John was working with us to coordinate and quote. He usually got back to us very quickly but could tell he was busy at times. The crew that came out (shout out to Brandon and the guys) were super nice and we can't recommend them enough. Jobs were all done well, timely, and professionally. Thank you guys!
