Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Boise. Across Idaho, 18 of the 50 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 382 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

They gave the great talk for the sale. The office people are very friendly. Those are the good points. Many delays, paperwork not left on site for inspections, not installed the way that was agreed, crappy wall repair where the battery was installed and a leak on the first rain after the installation. My ceiling section was bowing down cause of the rain water. Of course it’s not covered cause it was caused by a dislodged vent…not their solar. Even though it is next to the array, and you can see that the vent was pushed back. The house is 13 years old and we had just went through a home inspect

Installation was great! Service afterwards not so much. All of the service calls are to an international call center, very frustrating to get any answers. Additionally, although the parts are under warranty and the workmanship is guaranteed, they make you pre pay for a technician to come and look at the system, and it's not cheap. Solar is great, but I would recommend a different company to service your system.

I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone. Took forever to get everything done kept getting rejected by the city because of errors Big Dog Sollar made.

They have been doing better about getting back to you still takes awhile but better I do think it sucks that they don't monitor activity to let you know if there is a problem

Gio recently did the site survey for future work. He was very polite and professional. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and he patiently answered them, and had some good ideas for the installation, and how to maintain my equipment. Thanks Gio!

We had an error reported in our monitoring app regarding a string issue with no further details. Gio came out to try to investigate and resolve the issue. He went above and beyond spending all day checking every panel, running new lines and testing the results of each change to try to identify the problem string. Gio was incredibly professional, spending the better part of the day (with another stop before calling it quits) beating up on the system in the scorching summer heat. If anyone deserves a raise and a bonus, it's gotta be Gio.

I have had these guys put solar on 2 homes for me now! Amazing install and the support staff along the way was super informative of all the timelines and permits. 100% recommend them!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Boise is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
