Big Orange Solar

Each mark is one company we hold in West Palm Beach whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Big Orange Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Install was smooth and fast but do not expect much from the company as far as customer service. Called and left emails for follow up but no response back. Electric bill came out $400 on top of the $180 I pay for solar installments. So $600 for electric bill this past month. Took screen shots of what my electric company said I was producing and the only person that I could reach was my contact Diego and he offered little support. Only thing I was told was my system is showing I'm producing and maybe I'm using too much energy. By comparison that same month, for last year was by lowest consumptio

I’m extremely disappointed with Big Orange Solar. They took my deposit, the project never moved forward, and they refused to provide any documentation or evidence of work supposedly performed. Despite repeated requests, they also refused to return the deposit. The company stated that the project did not move forward because the home had been sold. This statement is incorrect. We continue to own the property, and it has never been sold.. This was a frustrating and unprofessional experience from start to finish. Based on how this was handled, I would not recommend Big Orange Solar and strongly a

My friend recently had new roofing installed and asked them to coordinate with the roof team to make sure they don’t break anything when installing the solar panels but was told “not to worry, we’ve been in the business for 20 years”. They damaged so much of the roof and broke a bunch of the tiles. Go somewhere else, literally anyone but these guys. What a SCAM!

I am extremely pleased with the work this company completed on my home. From beginning to end, the entire experience was professional, organized, and handled with great care. They installed my new metal roof, and I could not be happier with the results. The workmanship is excellent, the roof looks beautiful, and the crew took pride in doing the job correctly. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home and property. Communication throughout the project was excellent. They kept me informed, answered my questions, and made the entire process much easier than I e

Excellent team for the solar system installation. They arrived on time and left everything clean and well organized. The crew was also very friendly and professional in the way they communicated. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and well guided from start to finish.

Big Orange Solar has restored my faith in contractors. I’m in Broward County, in the Plantation area, and needed help with a relatively simple solar project. Every other company I contacted tried to sell me a brand-new system, but when I spoke with Big Orange Solar it felt like we were actually working together to solve a problem instead of being pushed into something I didn’t need. They installed a solar pool heating system, handled everything professionally, and communicated clearly throughout the process. It’s obvious they know solar and care about doing things the right way. They also hand

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

• It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
