Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in West Palm Beach. Across Florida, 252 of the 675 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in West Palm Beach whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. SolarScot is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

DO NOT HIRE this company. They are a scam. Owner super rude and wanted to install panes before a hurricane. Terrible, terrible customer service.

I am a solar orphan from a company that has gone out of business. Lucky a friend recommended Solarscot. The owner came out and replaced the inverter on my house and got me producing electricity. I will look to them for any further services. Thank you.

I would highly recommend SolarScot for all of your Solar needs. Scot is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable contractors we have worked with in Florida. Scot came to my rescue when we moved into our new home, with Solar Panels, and has helped me with servicing them, and most recently helped my HVAC company to get my AC hooked up with Solar power. Scot continues to monitor my Solars and keeps me updated on any service my Solar panels need and keeps me informed on anything at all related to my Solar needs. Top notch for sure! Highly recommend.

I have had my solar system from Solar Scott for five years now. I have saved thousands of dollars! Scott is always responsive and happy to help. Thank you Scott!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
