Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Boise. Across Idaho, 24 of the 50 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 25 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Initially I was ecstatic about working with Boise Solar. They did a good job coordinating everything and we got a new roof installed. However, they sub-contracted the roof install and never paid them. I was just informed there was a lien put on my house because of non payment, even though I paid Boise Solar within days of the job being completed. Roof was installed 5 months ago.

Paul and Hilary designed an exceptional off grid system for my family and made sure we understood how each part of our system worked. They were very professional and very personable. We look forward to working with them in the future as we expand our solar system. Can’t thank Boise Solr enough for their commitment to honesty and integrity.

Boise Solar has been fantastic to work with. We heard their ad on the radio and met with Paul and Hilary. They have worked with us through hiccups, keeping us updated as solutions came in view. Paul kept us informed through every step of the process - from first handshake to an active solar system. I am thrilled to recommend Boise Solar to anyone looking for solar!! Thank you, Hilary and Paul.

Boise Solar is a straight shooter. I’m fully satisfied with the work and the product. If you need anything Solar give them a call.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Boise is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
