Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Indianapolis. Across Indiana, 29 of the 75 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 154 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Ordered by the share of one and two star reviews, weighted by how many reviews stand behind it. It ranks review records, not workmanship.

Every company we hold in Indianapolis, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★65%

Each mark is one company we hold in Indianapolis whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Bone Dry Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Horrible company, don't know why they won't finish the job. I called last Jan 2026, no one come to finish the job.

ZERO! Waited three weeks for a quote, NEVER got one! HORRIBLE! So Glad I dodged this bullet!

Terrible. Really bad communication. Tried for 3 weeks, multiple emails to get promised quotes. Couldn’t get them. So glad I didn’t hire them for my job. If they can’t even communicate at the beginning of the process, I only imagine how bad the job would have gone. If I could give -0- stars I would.

The Bone Dry Solar team is the most amazing of Solar tear down and put back up in one day and everything works fine. Best team ever 💙 …

When my solar system had an invertor fault that actually set off my smoke alarms in the house, and after waiting 1-1/2 weeks for Generac to recommend a repair contractor, I called Bone Dry Solar. They listened to my issue and contacted Generac and got the ball rolling. The experience I had with them and their technician was professional, thorough, and timely. After the horrible experiences with Power Home Solar/Pink Energy, I know I can count on Bone Dry to diagnose and follow thru to put my system back in operation! Thanks again Angelica and Hunter! BW

Bone dry solar has been very thorough, even if we had to wait on proper parts, rather than makeshifting. I am grateful that they maintain an excellent standard

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“workmanship. *Limited lifetime warranty on workmanship and manufacturer…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, family owned and established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
