Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Indianapolis. Across Indiana, 32 of the 75 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Indianapolis whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Indy Solar Solutions is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Oscar was ver polite, kind, professional, knowledgeable, explained things well and in terms i could understand and most importantly, he was honest with me about our system.

I first started looking into solar for our near East side Indianapolis home this spring and went down a serious rabbit hole in terms of available technology, getting four different quotes and comparing systems with and without batteries. I went with Indy solar because Michael and Oscar were neighbors, excellent communicators and really worked with us to set up an optimized system with the latest available tech. They helped us navigate the permitting system with the city and electrical company -spoiler alert, AES is the most difficult part of the whole equation. Install took a couple of days lo

From the minute I spoke with Oscar on the phone I knew we were going with Indy Solar. We had a few previous quotes that just didn't sit right with me for many different reasons. Oscar was so informative and not your typical "salesman". Everything was so smooth. Install was pretty cool to watch and was complete in 1 day. I really feel like we gained a friend as well. Would 150% recommend INDY SOLAR.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“to take advantage of tax credits and financing options. We're not a national…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook and Instagram. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
