Its one and two star share is 13 points above the typical installer in Texas. Across Texas, 182 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 34 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

SCAM!!! DO NOT USE BRIGHT EARTH!!! They have a salesman named Quincy Jones (“Q”) who preys on new homeowners. He will say whatever he needs to just to get you to sign so he can collect his commission. After reviewing the proposal and estimated savings, I clearly told Quincy I did NOT want solar if I was still going to have an electric bill. He then offered me an “offset agreement,” claiming it would cover whatever remaining balance the solar didn’t, minus delivery fees. He also pressured me by saying I only had 3 days to decide before the deal was gone. I agreed, but made it clear that I did N

I initially reached out to this solar company based on some of the reviews I saw, but my experience was disappointing. While the salesperson was friendly at first, it quickly became clear that their equipment was subpar and didn’t meet industry standards. Their warranties were also far below what other reputable companies provide, which raised some serious concerns for me. After comparing quotes, I found much better options with higher-quality equipment and more comprehensive warranties. On top of that, they used high-pressure tactics to try and get me to sign the same day by offering a financ

I initially received a quote from a solar company that I didn’t know much about, and I thought it was a good deal. However, after getting quotes from more established companies, I found that their prices were at least $50–$100 less per month. Multiple companies also explained that the panels this company uses are not tier-one quality. The whole process seemed a bit sketchy. I won’t name the company I went with, as I believe that would be inappropriate, but they are a nationwide company that has been in business for over 10 years. My advice is to go with a company that is more established. This

Bright Earth my houses solar project & he helped guide me through the process from beginning to end. You can tell they care about the customer by their communication which I've heard horror stories about with other companies! 5 stars all the way!!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty and free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
