I got my panels installed about 5 years ago, maybe a little longer. Ended up needing a new roof 2 years ago and went with the company recommended by my roofer. Fast forward to last week, I had another professional out to see if my panels needed cleaning or maintenance. Would you believe that these panels I'll still be paying on for at least another 15 years are held on in places with ZIP TIES?! He showed me pictures of that, a video of him jiggling one panel and the whole array just bouncing along, areas where the arrays are weak due to improper installation (someone wanted to save money and d

Worst company, Worst experience. Once they get you on board, You are abandoned. I have been having issue with my solar and got in touch with them several times and till today, I have not received any call back. Based on my experience, I will never recommend them.

The pitch made sense- the results didn’t. For 5 of the first 8 months the system was faulty to the point of non-production. Not great. But my biggest issue is that I was told they would drop our energy bill down to $10-$20 a month, and for the couple months they were operational, our energy bill saw no real change, and then we were paying for a solar system on top of that. We were in a brand new, small, energy efficient home as well. Feels like a scam.

At the beginning everything is good, just as promised and ahead of schedule. Everyone is kind and knowledgeable. Until you are installed and running. You can’t get customer service to answer the phone. They over priced and undersold me. Charged 30k for 19 panels that I was promised would power my home and it does not. I still pay over $100 electric bill each month.

Our original contact, Tate, was very comprehensive in his explanations for adding the Tesla backup battery. And the on-site crew was also very exceptional. Everyone was very professional and thorough.

What the company says about itself
Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.
Financing
“utility rates, rate increases, and financing options. Savings estimated here assumes…”
Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate, established, better business bureau and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.
What we don't know
- The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
- We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
- We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
