Its one and two star share is 10 points below the typical installer in Lansing. Across Michigan, 49 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 13 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The Cardinal Power Systems team has proven to be honest, highly capable, and extremely professional. I was working on setting up my second solar system and hit a massive brick wall trying to navigate the bureaucratic lunacy of the big power companies. After being flat-out denied, I reached out to the owner, Jason Bloomquist. Getting him involved was the best decision I could have made. Not only is Jason incredibly knowledgeable, kind, prompt, and professional, but he is also extremely fussy about doing things the right way. He stepped in and single-handedly navigated the system to get my paper

Cardinal was very responsive and very professional. They did not install my rooftop solar system but when part of the system stopped working, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Repair was challenging due to steepness of the roof, but Jason came up with solution that was safe and effective. They also installed critter guard around our system. We were very satisfied and would use Cardinal Power again.

We have solar panels installed on our roof and needed new shingles installed. Our roofing company recommended Jason at Cardinal Power Systems as they have worked with each other in the past. Communication with Jason every step of the way was terrific. He got the panels removed and stored safely while the roof was being done. I asked Jason if it was possible to reconfigure the layout of the panels so we would get the absolute maximum power generated. He worked out a new layout at no extra charge. As soon as the weather permitted (rain, rain, & more rain!), he installed the panels with the new l

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
