Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in California. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

The whole process was much easier than we expected. Communication was great, the installation team was professional, and everything was done on time. They left the area clean, and the panels look great. Going solar is a big investment, so having a company you can trust makes all the difference. We're really happy with our decision and grateful to Juan and the entire CV Solar team for making the experience so easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering solar! :)

I was referred to Coachella Valley Solar by a friend, whose family had also worked with Juan. I was very impressed with the quality of their work, the prompt communication, and their ability to complete my installation before the rebates expired at the end of the year. I would confidently recommend Coachella Valley Solar to anyone considering going solar.

This crew was awesome! I had dealt with 4 different solar companies for completed projects and no one compares! They were fully attentive, and communicative. All the permits and SCE communication were handled with no stress. Since then I have personally given them 3 projects. With more to come. I highly recommend them!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. La Quinta is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
