Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Minnesota. Across Minnesota, 35 of the 68 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 14 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

As a part of the Sustainable Homes Program, I received an energy audit, followed by recommendations to make our 107-year-old home more efficient. The report was comprehensive and we proceeded with improvements that included attic insulation, a new water heater, and a heat pump. Having AC is a first for us! We are eager to see how the heat pump works this fall and winter. Overall, becoming more reliant upon electricity than natural gas is better for my pocketbook and better for our planet. The staff at CEF were respectful and as eager to share their knowledge as I was to receive it. My family i

Creative, Courageous, Cooperative Leaedership such as gifted to us by CEF is still too rare. I look forward to the day when this is common

I subscribed to a community solar garden through CEF two years ago and initially it sounded too good to be true. It's not, just true. As someone who lives in an apartment, community solar allows me to support solar energy and receive the benefit of savings on my electric bill. The staff send out helpful regular communication and members all have a vote- this is a thriving cooperative. Aside from community solar, they offer other programs and education to help people navigate energy efficiency improvements. Would recommend to anyone.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
