Cosmic Solar and Roofing

Each mark is one company we hold in the Carlsbad area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Cosmic Solar and Roofing is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Absolutely do not use this company! I signed a contract with Cosmic Solar & Roofing to install Solar Panels on a ADU we are building. I gave an initial deposit and was told the next step would be to pull permits. What actually happened next was they came onto my property and installed solar panels on the ADU without ever contacting me, making an appointment, or getting any kind of approval. They never spoke to me once — they just showed up and did the entire installation without my knowledge. It wasn't until they contacted me demanding full payment that we realized they had installed the Solar

Cosmic Solar was great. Until there was a problem. 11 of our 20 panels aren’t producing power, and they have been diddling around for 3 months since we told them. Edit: Thanks Cosmic for Documenting false and disparaging claims about me. I swore a blue streak at you when YOU called ME. After I had requested that all communications be in writing. My wife called SunPower last week and got a completely different story than what Cosmic said. I don’t believe either of you. Edit again: I have upgraded Cosmic to 2 stars for a couple reasons. The system been working properly since it was repaired. Also

Poor experience. Do not pay them until the work is finished, otherwise they will not respond. Do not recommend

Honest, reliable, efficient, and on time, from the beginning to the end the entire project of re-reroofing and solar installation was perfect, beyond my expectations! Never had such a wonderful experience! I’ll definitely comeback to you in the future and will highly recommend to my friends and families! Thank you so much!

Cosmic solar did a fantastic job of advising me on the number of solar panels needed to achieve 130% of our peak power needs for our home at 1261 Belleflower Road in Carlsbad, California. They were flexible with the time frame, waiting patiently while we replaced the roof on our 29-year-old home to begin their work. They helped me get approval to operate our solar power system from San Diego Gas and Electric, including a Tesla Powerwall 3 in our garage. We are now off the grid during some of the warmest days of the year, which saves us money and is an environmentally sensitive way to meet our

As someone who leads a solar installation company in a completely different market, I was genuinely impressed by Pey and the team at Cosmic Solar. They were generous with their time, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly transparent in sharing operational and technical insight from hundreds of advanced battery installations. What stood out most was their professionalism, technical acumen, and customer-first mindset. It was obvious very quickly that this is a company that deeply understands both the technology and the responsibility that comes with installing energy systems on people’s homes. Co

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Financing

“for the duration of the loan. What financing options are available for solar power? There…”

• 24/7 availability

“Take advantage of your solar system 24/7, 365 with our expertly installed line…”

Its website also mentions warranty, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
