    Went out of business without even informing their customers. All warranties are void. Poor management!

    My experience with KOTA has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. KOTA partnered with my roofer, demanding FULL payment for their services and promising to pass along the roofer's share when the work was complete. The roofing work was completed on May 26, 2023, and according to the agreement, payment was due within 10 days, by June 5, 2023. However, more than 15 months later, KOTA has failed to pay the amount owed to my roofer. I reached out multiple times for updates, and finally, J.J. Hyde from KOTA shared in a text message that "KOTA has been having cash flow problems for quite some

    Once this company has your money, YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM THEM AGAIN. They will not reply, will not do the work they committed to doing, and will leave you completely in the dark regardless of any attempt to contact them in a myriad of ways. Check out how they reply only to their five star reviews and leave everyone else hanging - says everything about their culture and complete disinterest in making things right.

    We had Chris Garcia as our sales rep. Great guy, super professional, and caring about our needs and budget. It all came together with genuine ease. There were no high-pressure sales tactics; we told him we needed to think and research his information, and he said to give him a call when we were ready. He was true to his word and waited until we called. We are pleased with the panels we purchased. It’s been over a year, and we recently received our settle-up bill from SDG&E, and our bill showed, in our favor, a $300.00 credit. We didn't try to save on our energy last year.     Not only highly likely, but I already have! I have been so very impressed with Kieren since the moment I met him. He is thorough in all his explanations, answers every question. Describes the Solar onboarding process completely in very easy to understand language. The electrician, Greg, was also very approachable. He explained everything that was happening. Described the hardware that was being installed. The roofers were also terrific, although I did not get to meet them. They came, did the job, left absolutely no mess...and departed.

    I hired Kota after firing another solar company that had not taken action for five months.With Kota, it was on a different level. Kieran from Kota was my contact, based on a friend's recommendation. He was very professional and did everything he promised on time or sooner. My first meeting with Kieran was in December 2023. They installed the Solar Panels, Span Smart Panel, and Tesla battery at the end of January 2024. It took a couple of months for our electrical company to permit to operate.
