Its one and two star share is 11 points above the typical installer in Tyler. Across Texas, 205 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 46 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Cosmo Solaris is terrible. The project manager Martin Hold does not return phone calls, they delivered non-working solar panels, they installed incorrectly, and it took a tremendous amount of energy to get everything corrected. They gave inaccurate information about how to receive solar renewable energy credits, and when I finally could get ahold of someone, they acted like they were doing me a favor by correcting their mistakes. There is both a major language barrier and professional barrier with this company.

Stay away - they are fraudsters only interested in money; they refuse to honor their own production guarantees and have tried to ghost me for several months, resulting in my having to involve a state regulator. They are nothing more than scam artists.

I have had a terrible experience with Cosmo Solaris. I signed my contract with them in July 2025. As of today's date, of Dec 11 2025, I still do not have a solar system that is fully functional. The installers showed up and installed system but did not have a critical component that left the system only able to charge the battery. It seems the site meter was not configured. Without a site meter, system will not operate fully. I am highly disappointed. It took Cosmo Solar over 3 months to get the permitting approved and another 2 months to get materials and install date on the calendar. Through

Had an overall good experience with Cosmo Solaris until I hit the 1 year mark. My production is off by -25 percent! It has been 4 months since Cosmo was informed about this. 15 phone calls with e-mails and text messages also. just getting the run around now. Always goes to voicemail when I call. During the Install they couldn't pick up quick enough..... Waiting for a reply here from the owner.

We just got our solar panel installation completed, and we are very pleased with the entire process. Cosmo Solaris offered a competitive system price--- AND they answered ALL of my 100’s of questions BEFORE I signed on with them…! Sierra was my main point of contact, and she professionally shepherded us through the process from start to finish. She was great to work with and very knowledgeable. And I appreciated how she gave me the opportunity to earn referral bonuses...! Also, I needed a new roof, and they found me a high-quality, experienced roofing group that did a great job and at a very r

In late October, after a delay beyond my control, I obtained 3 bids for a solar system in an attempt to meet the Dec 31 tax credit deadline. I'm an engineer with professional registration in 11 states, and have led many major projects around the world; I did not really believe it could be done. Sierra, the lead contact with CosmoSolaris, provided the most complete bid with high-quality equipment at a reasonable cost. Sierra was very pleasant to work with, and extremely prompt in replying to my requests and possible options. She was very knowledgeable and cognizant of the need for an efficient

We recently used Solaris to install our solar panels. Installation went fine they took care of the design, paperwork, approvals, visits on a timely fashion. I was impressed by their communication. Great shout out to Sierra and Alex to take care of the project for us. I am excited to wait and see the performance. Great work so far.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“detail and provided me with great financing options. The process was smooth, and I’m glad…”
  • 24/7 availability

“monthly electricity bill and enjoy 24/7 access to power. Solar Calculator…”
  • Insured

“installation team is certified and insured, so you can know that your system…”
  • Licensed

“In Solar Energy at home We’re licensed contractors with local offices in TX,…”

Its website also mentions warranty, free estimate and years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on Instagram, X, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
