Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in the Tyler area. Across Texas, 368 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 108 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Tyler area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Tyler area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. EasTex Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Wow, completely can’t even describe service and 3 wrong contracts they cancel. Thanks,

They don't call back, so I'll move on to the next one. Called 2 weeks ago and left a message, but no worries. Several companies to choose from. The owner has plenty of time to write a two page dissertation, but doesn't return calls. Most excellent. Good luck to you.

Could have been 5 star but I didn't want to go to the trouble. Asked them 3 times to run the coundit tighter to the wall and sofit. They said it would be troublesome and I won't see it. Other than that it is a great system. They where mostly professional worked efficiently left a clean work site

Eastex Solar just completed the installation of my 18,000 watt off-grid solar power system. I am extremely pleased with their professionalism, friendly and prompt service, flexibility to adjust to field conditions and necessary changes, and commitment to achieve cost and schedule targets! I highly recommend them to others pursuing solar projects.

….great experience with these guys. They know their stuff, are fast, and do a great job. I was up and running inside two days. If you’re thinking of solar you should talk to Eastex first.

These guys smashed it out the park. I was having massive issue with my previous solar guy trying to get an off grid system installed. Eastex came in and changed the whole experience. Reese was on top of everything, super knowledgeable and helpful. Within two days the whole system was redesigned in a way more efficient, less expensive but more effective way. They also took 3 days to install, which was amazing as i’d been stalled for over a year by the previous guy.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Financing

“to retail energy providers and financing options. Working closely with prospects and…”
  • Warranty

“promptly and they provided excellent. Warranty service, when my inverter stopped…”
  • Years in business

“economics of the power market for over 15 years ✔ Warranties Measured in Decades…”

Its website also mentions family owned, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
