Its one and two star share is 2 points above the typical installer in the Tyler area. Across Texas, 323 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 23 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Every company we hold in the Tyler area, on one axis

0% rated 1–2★25%

Each mark is one company we hold in the Tyler area whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Eternal TX is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We hired this company to detach and reset panels for a customer on a roof we were replacing. They damaged the roof during the process of reinstalling the solar, improperly connected the solar panels and fried the inverter. They refuse to take responsibility for their work or file a general liability claim. I am guessing because they let their insurance lapse. We are headed to court unless they finally decide to return my calls.

Alan absolutely went above and beyond to help me with the solar system on my roof. He answered all of my questions and was quick to offer help. Alan was incredibly professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing assistance with their roof!

Great quality craftsmanship and affordable! Highly recommend. Best in East Texas.

I was so impressed with the professionalism and great attitude Alan displayed when he repaired my roof. He did so much more than I expected or even asked for. His repair was wonderful and he took pictures of all his work so I could see if I was satisfied with the results. It took me 3 years to find a roofer who would come out after a huge tree limb damaged the roof because the job was too small. Alan knows that relationships and a great reputation build a business and his respect for his customers is so refreshing! Thank you, Alan. I lknow who to call when the next limb falls🤗

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on X, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
