Its one and two star share is 4 points above the typical installer in Tyler. Across Texas, 305 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 35 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Tyler whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Wright-Way Solar Technologies is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Don't show up unannounced or without an appointment....you'll be given a business card and asked to call the certified solar installer's cell. Is this a one man operation?

This is the second project with Wright-Way Solar, and both projects have been completed outstandingly well. In 2023, I had a Solar company from Dallas, TX design and install 80 Solar panels for my home. I must say, from the first week of the installation there were disappointments. In January 2026, I found rainwater on the floor of our sunroom. An inspection disclosed that the roof had been leaking since the original Solar installation due to poor installation of the Solar panel stands. Not only was the roof leaking but portions of the roof sheeting had rotted requiring replacement. I contacte

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Family owned

“over 40 years, Wright-Way has been a family owned and operated construction and…”

  • Established

“- Locals Love Us awards every year since 2011. Named one of the Top 500 Solar…”

  • Insured

“team of professionally trained and insured Wright-Way installers. Our Solar…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, years in business, better business bureau and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
