Its one and two star share is 12 points below the typical installer in Campbell. Across California, 722 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Campbell whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Earth Electric Inc is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

We were very happy until when we decided to sell our home. They told us the new owner cannot rent the house. We need to go find another buyer. We almost lost ths deal of 1.5 million dollar. We had to pay in full for the panels. Or else!!! No helpful customer service!!

I wanted to wait a few months after our solar installation to see how the system performed before leaving a review, and I can happily say the production has been outstanding! My electricity bills are now incredibly low to practically non-existent, and I couldn't be happier with the overall results. Sheryl and Zach were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They are incredibly thorough. For example, when our original REC panels couldn't be sourced due to a production shortage, they quickly pivoted to Maxeon panels. Zach actually came out to measure my roof twice just to guarantee the new

Earth Electric took over my abandoned solar and Powerwall project and did a great job getting everything completed. Communication was clear, the team was professional and on time, and they made the whole process much smoother than I expected. I’m very happy with the result and would recommend them.

New Update: Earth Electric did an outstanding job 10 years ago to install my solar panels. I picked them after evaluating a large number of other national and local vendors. I just had Earth Electric come back to install backup batteries. …

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Woman owned

“Electric. Plus we love supporting a woman owned small business!” ~Michelle F.,…”

  • Financing

“on the various solar installation financing options. We do solar, not financing, so you…”

  • Established

“We’ve been in business since 2009 which pretty much makes us veterans.”

  • Insured

“Incorporated is a fully licensed and insured C46 and C10 contractor. License…”

Its website also mentions free estimate, licensed and licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

  • It posts on LinkedIn. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Campbell is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
