I bought an EG4 24K hybrid heatpump new version V1 from US Solar Company in January 2026. Installed in late of March. The Plug N Cool 1/2" brass connector broke off in June. Emailed US Solar twice for warranty claims information, no reply until now August 9. After not receiving any response from US Solar, I ordered new set Plug N Cool from Signature Solar and replaced, evacuated, vacuumed system and charged freon by professional MulePro, LLC. This costs me $340 dollars The unit back on service for 13 days and again, the new 1/2" brass connector broke. This time I decided to ask MulePro to braz

We went with EG4 batteries based on a recommendation of our solar installers. I am regretting it honestly. They batteries aren’t performing as they were sold. The UI is not great at best and although support was good at first, my emails and questions now go unanswered. We are over a month with no response to multiple attempts to reach them. Spend your money elsewhere.

Expect to spin your wheels and pay your installer/electrician a lot to assist with troubleshooting your new EG4 battery/inverter install! After months of trouble shooting, hours exceeding 40 from my installer; an unlivable home for 10 days; and a delay in shipping a replacement inverter - my battery is up and running. And EG4 refuses to provide any compensation to me or my installer. It was determined on March 31, that a replacement inverter was to be shipped to my home. But until then, from Dec 19 til March 31 numerous online calls with EG4 technical 'telephone' support while my installers we

An EG4 Update: A Noticeable Change in Tune Following my prior review, I was contacted by a new EG4 representative who took ownership of my warranty claim. From the outset, the experience was notably different. He quickly understood the failure mode of my solar air conditioner, avoided unnecessary back-and-forth, and promptly scheduled a replacement unit. My documented out-of-pocket expenses were also approved for reimbursement. Communication throughout was respectful, professional, and efficient. Both the replacement unit and reimbursement were received as agreed. During installation of the re

I'd like to express my gratitude to customer support, imparticularly Colton. Excellent customer service. Colton was very knowledgeable and very helpful in finding a solution in regards to a third party battery that was not discharging. Colton was very willing to take control and find the answers. I appreciate the time I spent on the phone with him. He is a great representative at EG4.

I have bought many eg4 products over the years, they have never let me down. I live totally offgrid and wouldn't want it any other way. I recently purchased a 12000 btu hybrid mini split for my new addition, I wish I had done this sooner. Easy to install, super quiet, and not only does it cool my new addition, it also cools the existing building. That's 960 sq ft. Without a problem. I did have one issue with the unit after the first 6-7 hours of running it that needs to be mentioned to save someone else from taking it back off the wall and rechecking the condensate line . I had water start to

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions warranty and better business bureau, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • Google also lists this company under tutoring.
    • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on YouTube, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
