Called this company to replace my inverter installed by a bankrupt company. Before they could replace the inverter they needed to charge 399 dollars to “look” at the system. Fine. Appointment was scheduled 5-6 days out from 12-4. 3:45 hits and no communication so I had to call energy aid who called me back after 4. They stated the tech couldn’t make the appointment and wanted to schedule me another 8 days out. Plus after the inspection, they stated it would take a week for them to “draft” up an estimate. I imagine if I went with them it would take another 2-3 weeks for them to find the time to

Kenny came to the property, did the inspection but we never received the report. It has been 16 days now. I have called multiple times and am repeatedly told, "a message has been sent to the appropriate department," yet nothing happens. I will not use nor recommend this company in the future.

The technician was great. They contract out techs- might as well just pay a local tech rather than these scammers. The sales rep over the phone for solaraid quoted me 3,000$ to get me to be able to monitor my system…. Which is free if I scan the QR code on the side of my house. Lying to steal 3,000$ is definitely illegal.

Job was done according to company standard. There was no issue in the system according to the technicians. Solar system is functioning as “it should be”. It’s just that gateway is way too expensive to replace. Remote monitoring cant be performed.

Jonathan was quite personable, explained things well, seemed very knowledgeable. I hope he stays with our account over time.

So far, I have a good feeling about this company. Solid customer care from what I experienced today. I purchased a solar system from SunWorks out of Roseville years ago, only to discover they went belly up recently. Through online searching, I discovered EnergyAid had picked up servicing numerous SunWorks customers. Marcos was the technician, who responded to my house. He very quickly gave me an assessment of my system, noted all the problems, and gave me clear options to consider moving forward. No BS. Good knowledgeable service.

We were really impressed with the Company and Marcos, the tech who came out. The Company kept me informed about the timing for the appointment. Marcos arrived on time and worked quickly, while keeping me informed of his findings. He explained what was needed next and how I would be informed.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
