Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in the Bellingham area. Across Washington, 49 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 70 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this interaction was bad enough that I think other people should know what to expect. My family is camping in the area for the week and relying on a small solar setup so my wife can work remotely and we can keep our phones, computers, and small refrigerator running. This morning our batteries were over-discharged, and I traced the problem to a failed MC4 connection on the negative cable from our solar panels. I searched Google for solar/MC4 help nearby. This business came up near the top and was listed as open, so I drove out there. When I arrived, I explai

I tried to discuss equipment options with this company and spoke with Katee a few months ago. She claimed to have vast industry experience. I was appalled by her lack of understanding that batteries do indeed consume power. Hey, Katee, maybe learn the difference between a contactor based LiFePO4 battery and a MOSFET based LiFePO4 battery? You might also contact Fortress and SimpliPhi and ask them what their batteries consume. Katee also claimed that only commercial operations would need two Sol-Ark 12k's. I often hit well over 14kw in the summer. If I'd listened to Katee, I'd be tripping my sy

I contacted Fire Mountain Solar because I bought a house that has solar panels, and I am new to them. I have no information about them, and quite frankly don't know where to start. I found out from another company they were installed by a now out of business company, with little to no resources for those customers. I spoke with Alana and she helped to find any information she could, and gave me very helpful notes and just general info. Alana's customer service is by far the best I have ever received. Thank you so much!

My wife and I recently had a rooftop solar installation performed by Fire Mountain Solar (FMS) consisting of 29,000 Watts of PV panels, Iron Ridge racking, and all EG4 Electronics equipment, including two 14.3 kWh backup batteries, two Flexboss inverters, and the Gridboss integration unit. As a retired mechanical engineer I had done lots of research into the details of solar systems. We initially contacted one of the advertised installers that randomly popped up on web searches and quickly realized it was both a financial and technical scam, so I did my own search for local installers, contact

Its website also mentions free estimate, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
