Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Washington. Across Washington, 61 of the 99 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Great products, but tech support is like calling the bad old days of condescending tech support from the last century.

Top notch customer service and warranty repair! I installed my first Classic Charge Controller ten years ago for our off-grid vacation home. Expanded solar last year; adding two additional Classic controllers. One unit experienced a failure just over a week ago. I requested repair via their Support ticket system on-line and had an RMA the next morning. Since I live 1.5 hours from Midnite Solar, I dropped the unit off on Thursday afternoon and was notified the following Tuesday morning the unit had been repaired under warranty. Picked the unit up the next day and re-installed same day. Unit is

Unbelievable service / tech support I cannot say enough. Phones are answered, no call centre. Walked me through my issue for trouble shooting and more. 8 years living off-grid, the first time i've needed them and they were there for me. THANK YOU my American friends.

I have never, ever, had someone be so very helpful in setting up my Midnite Kid Solar. Unfortunately I forget the gentleman’s name but he was on the phone with me for well over an hour, he was very knowledgeable, competent, patient, and understanding and got my MPPT set up and functioning in a way I never could have. Thank you so much. Jay

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
