Its one and two star share is 5 points below the typical installer in Irvine. Across California, 788 of the 1,529 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 18 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Irvine whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Firefly Energy LLC is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

This was an excellent experience once the crew got started building and installing the panels on my house! No complaints here. They were fast efficient and everything went through as planned with the electric company. I was able to see how much power my panels gave me through the app and saved me money! Thank you Sun Power and Firefly for making it possible!

Jarrod Walter helped me so much with my solar needs. Please talk to him as he gives it to you straight!

I've been using the services of Firefly Energy LLC for a couple months now and I am very impressed with the quality of their services. Their technicians have great knowledge and experience of how to install, service, and maintain your solar energy equipment. The team also provides a wide variety of services, including energy management, renewable energy development, energy cost savings, and more. The customer service was also exemplary and they were more than willing to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend Firefly Energy LLC for anyone looking for a reliable and reputable solar energy

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Free estimate

“P. Verified Customer Schedule your free consultation today, and see how much you can save…”

Its website also mentions warranty and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
