Its one and two star share is 6 points above the typical installer in Illinois. Across Illinois, 57 of the 183 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 22 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

This was the absolute worst sales mistake I ever made in my life. I had someone coming, knocking in my door selling solar panels. I was absolutely taken advantage of and was not told all of the details prior to the process. I now owe 100+ a month in my electric bill hasn’t went down even $20 please no one trust this company I have emailed called texted finally I realized my sales representative had been fired from the company so that makes a lot of sense as to why I was lied to and I’m now in a contract for the next 20 years when my electric bill remains the same . If you you try to contact th

⭐️ 1 Star (Zero if I could) Freedom Forever – The Worst Company I’ve Ever Worked With I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Freedom Forever has been so unbelievably frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. Freedom Forever knocked on my door over 18 months ago with a great sales pitch. I was excited about the idea of going solar and signed up with enthusiasm. That enthusiasm quickly disappeared. Since then, it has been nothing but delays, poor communication, turnover, and mistakes. To give some context: • An electrician literally fell through my attic ceiling, causing

I got in after Net Metering and now my installations has been dead in the water for 11 months. They never reach out. I have emailed them several times. The only thing I get back from them is some excuse about the batteries needed.

Matt K helped get the system up and running for me- with help from Rich the Electrician. Thank you for a smooth process, guys! You rock!!

What a great installation crew! Licey and Saul worked from sunrise past sunset for three full days! Super nice and their work ethic is amazing. Very clean installation with neat wiring, everything is level and looks great. I highly recommend these guys!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“– on TOP of your system’s standard warranty! If your system produces less power…”

Its website also mentions licence number, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on ConsumerAffairs and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
  • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
