Its one and two star share is level with the typical installer in Austin. Across Texas, 375 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 126 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

0% rated 1–2★20%

Each mark is one company we hold in Austin whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Greenbelt Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Answered the phone and hung up - attempted to bring him business on behalf of my clients would have been over 20 homes. Not professional :)

The best solar installer in Austin, hands down! Adi and the Greenbelt Solar team installed solar on both our primary home and our rental property, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Adi is incredibly knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and truly cares about doing the job right. The quality of the installation and customer service far exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't miss a beat hiring Adi and his team again for any future solar or energy needs, highly recommend Greenbelt Solar!

Highly recommended. Micro inverters weren’t reporting. Texted Greenbelt Solar. Adi told me to reset breakers. Didn’t fix it so he sent a worker over. It took a lot of discovery but was put back on line. Adi texted to make sure it was done. The invoice was absolutely fair considering the time n expertise it took to get my system working. Will use Greenbelt Solar again.

I had talked to two different solar companies because I needed my panels removed and reinstalled due to replacing my roof. The first company didn't seem like they wanted my business and quoted me a price I thought was a bit high. I got a hold of greenbelt solar. Same job half the price. Very responsive and easy to work with. I ask Adi what the cost would be to add 10 additional panels. Price was very reasonable. So I added that to the scope of the job. We did everything through text and and email. The guys that came out very knowledgeable. Very professional. I am thrilled with the job they did

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

  • Warranty

“all-aluminum rails with no roof leak warranty, labor warranty, and performance…”

Its website also mentions woman owned, free estimate, established and licensed, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
