Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Maryland. Across Maryland, 59 of the 111 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 7 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Jeff at Grounded Solar came out and fixed a firmware problem that was preventing communication of the kWh generated from our system. A big thanks to Jeff, we are now able to submit the SRECs again. We love the solar system that Jeff and his team installed, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Grounded Solar was professional and efficient. It was time for a new roof and gutters, so we did that as part of the project. After 3 years roof/ gutters still look new and solar system works perfectly. Solar was a great investment that keeps getting better as rates go up.

You get your moneys worth for sure. Jeff and his team was very nice and a pleasure to work with. I’m very happy I chose solar, my SMECO electric bill went from $400 to $131 the first month and the bill after that is projected to be $75, this was in January/February so I can only imagine what my bill will look like during the summer time. Highly Recommended

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
