I am in the process of getting a new solar system installed. The scheduling was handled professionally, the crew showed up on time this morning and has proceeded to make good progress. The job will be finished tomorrow, everything looks good at this point. Update Dec 2025 - my syatem required some warranty repairs, the GVEC team handled everything professionally and now my equipment is running better than ever!

They got the system fixed and working properly. Thank you for getting all back up and working.

Cole and everyone else did a great job in the installation of our solar panels. Cole was excellent in explaining the process to us, especially the use of the Tesla app. Everyone worked hard in miserable weather, and Jesse and I appreciate you!!

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“are easy to customize Our solar panel warranty protects your alternative energy…”

• Established

“across South Central Texas since 1938. With so many years of experience,…”

• Years in business

“been part of South Central Texas for over 83 years, and we’re not going anywhere. Our…”

Its website also mentions financing, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
