Kern's installed a roof-top array complete with a new service panal and battery back up. My biggest concern was a leaking roof, but it's almost a year later, and even with ice and snow no leaks!!!! Techs were very friendly and knowledgeable. In spring / summer / fall I am producing more energy than I am using. Today it is raining and the system is still producing .3kw with complete cloud cover. On sunny days, I've seen production of as much as 75kw in a single day. (I use about 50kw / day on average and we run 3 a/c window units in the summer.) My utility bill in summer is less than $30 and th

Local company that sells you AND installs the product that they sell. They do not sell the project off to another sub-contractor. Kerns was very thorough throughout the entire solar process; answering all questions and concerns. Installation crew was very professional, tidy and prompt in their services provided. Highly recommend Kerns Construction for your solar installation.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • Google publishes no street address for this company, so we cannot say which town it is based in. Dekalb is the area its listing was returned for, not an address we hold.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
