Mac's Batteries

Each mark is one company we hold in Eugene whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Mac's Batteries is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

Devlin and his team are fantastic to work with. The coaching and ability to simplify solar systems and help you understand complicated electrical math and systems was such a gift. I left feeling smarter and with an exceptional new battery backup system that fits just what we needed. Devlin listened to my needs, was willing to adapt and try some innovative solutions to fit the system where I wanted it and to do what we wanted to do--be able to run out RV Air Conditioner off grid. I'd highly recommend Mac's if you want great quality service and products at a fair price.

This is a great business! My experience is that not only is Devlin knowledgeable, he is honest and fair. I stopped in with my motorhome which I suspected needed a new battery. They could have easily sold me one, rather he took the time to test it and then assure me it still had good life. He sent me on my way with tips on how to maintain it through the off-season. He also took time to assess an issue I had with my motorhome's solar system. He didn't sell me anything, but he gained a future customer!

Incredible, knowledgeable service! Mac’s team are experts in their field and also really nice people to work with. Highly recommend for all things energy storage.

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

• Warranty

“replacement and 72-month prorated warranty. See inventory RV & Marine…”

Its website also mentions established, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

• It is also reviewed on Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
• It posts on Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

• —The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
• —We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
• —We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
