    Sales staff were good and knowledgeable; however, installers were the exact opposite. They damaged my roof, didn't say anything, and tried to fix the damage with caulking which my roofer laughed at. They also tried to enter my second story by climbing onto my master balcony but when they discovered it was locked they had to come ask me if they could get in. There are plenty of other companies out there and would not recommend or use Magic Sun on any of my other properties.

    We inquired and it took a long time for Magic Sun Solar’s team to return our call. The team came out, “fixed” the solar panels, then we got solar-powered heated pool for the summer season last year. By Fall 2022, our neighbor noticed that our solar panel led to street side water leakage. We have called Magic Sun Solar several times, leaving messages to ask them to come back and help us fix (or even replace) the solar panel and corresponding leakage. NO ONE returned our calls. Please do not bother to reach out — really do not understand the five-star rating if the basic professionalism of getti

    We are repeat customers. Yes I said repeat. We moved and asked Oscar if he could come out and give us a quote. Took a little while but he made it out. Was suppose to have the quote to us in a few days, no problem it didn’t make it to our email. So hubby gave him a call, and Oscar said I will have it to you by Wednesday, call was on Monday. Still no quote and today is Thursday. We are very understanding and patient. But when you said twice your going to do something then do it. Seems to me your not hungry enough for business so we will take ours elsewhere.

    I was happy with the work of Dan, Niel and Tim in getting my home battery system installed, inspected and approved by the City of Sacramento and SMUD, which is not an easy task. They made it happen. Thank you, guys.

    An honest review: Magic Sun Solar has come through twice now for me and has exceeded expectations. We came home to a leaking roof after the recent torrential rains. I called out two roofers, both looked at the solar array over the leaking area and walked away. They were certain it was solar related and would not do anything until the solar panels were removed. Magic Sun Solar sent a team out to our house and rapidly found the leak. It was nothing to do with the solar panels or installation, but related entirely to flashing failure around a nearby vent pipe penetrating the roof. Despite being u

    We've had our panels for 4 1/2 years now, and I just want to say that I am incredibly satisfied with the service we received. I am still very happy that we supported local small business and I feel that got incredible service and our panels have saved us SO much money! Our true up bills have consistently been a break even or have been a few hundred dollars back, which means our sales guy quoted us the exact number of panels that we needed. I recommend them highly. I can't believe that some reviews are based on drivers and not even on the solar company install, products or service.
