Its one and two star share is 3 points above the typical installer in Plano. Across Texas, 289 of the 728 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 290 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

I think I somehow must have gotten a completely different department than the rest of these reviews. My solar project was started 11 months ago, and is still not producing any power back into the system. It took 6 months to get the system installed and certified. I have reached out multiple times to get this resolved, but they just say it looks good on their side. Words do not describe the complete lack of urgency to get the system talking to the grid, either that or this is actually a complete scam and they are just dragging it out so that I don't realize that the equipment does not work. My experience with Mayer has been terrible. Solar panels were installed Dec. 22nd 2025. One panel was shattered they put it up anyway. The delivery guy dropped a pallet on a another package and it damaged the battery so they brought another and installed it in Feb. Since then it took a long time for them to schedule electrical connection despite coming out in March, April and May we still are not connected to solar power. And the broken panel is still up there. I also have reached out called and can’t get a hold of anyone I leave messages and no one returns my calls. I am at the point where I

There were multiple delays in the start of work. They did, however, keep us informed of those delays which is why they have 3 stars instead of 2. Once it began we were told the installation would take 2 days but it lasted 2+ weeks. Once completed, we were then told that not only would it not power the casita my 86 y.o. Mother lives in behind our house which we said was the main priority, but it will not run the air conditioner in our 2700 sq ft house. I feel like I was duped & not fully informed on the true function of these panels/battery packs and that Mayer is the prime beneficiary of this

What the company says about itself

Taken from its own website. We have not checked any of it, and a sentence on a website is not evidence.

Its website also mentions years in business, but not in a sentence we can quote cleanly.

    Elsewhere

    • It is also reviewed on Yelp and the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.
    • It posts on YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. A page that stopped posting years ago tells you something a listing will not.

    What we don't know

    • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
    • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
    • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.

Something wrong here? Tell us and a person will read it.
