Its one and two star share is 3 points below the typical installer in Alaska. Across Alaska, 10 of the 15 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 12 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Each mark is one company we hold in Alaska whose Google breakdown has been read, placed by its share of one and two star reviews. Midnight Sun Solar is the red one. The amber line is the middle of that set, which includes suppliers and maintenance businesses as well as installers.

What reviewers said

I am very satisfied with the quality of the solar panels, the system, and the performance of my solar PV system that Midnight Sun Solar installed. Furthermore, I am delighted that Midnight Sun Solar was happy to customize my system installation so that I could integrate and blend my solar panel system into my home and my yard.

The crew did a great job recently (9/21). I have a very positive response with all involved from administration to the actual install. Really a professional job all around and I'm very happy with the result and promptness. Good company to do your solar panels and they know the business on all levels. Thanks!

Very helpful and very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend midnight sun solar. I live off grid and my solar was not working properly and mark the owner came out very promptly and fixed me right up. Thank you Midnight Sun Solar!

Reviewer names are not published here. Negative reviews are shown first because they are the ones a listing hides, not because they are more representative.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
