Company: Midwest Solar / Midwest Electric & Solar LLC Representative: Nick Moriarty Project: Residential solar installation – Warrensburg, MO Install Date: August 2024 System Cost: ~$52,298 (financed through Mosaic at 4.59%) Loan Payment: $200/month × 25 years Downtime: October 2024 – June 2025 (≈8 months) Reimbursement Requested: $1,600 (for 8 months of Mosaic loan payments during downtime) I want to share my experience with Midwest Solar as clearly and factually as possible. Id love to say good things but, after I purchased 12, 360 w panels..they were supposed to be new, for 1800.00$ I ended up having to help load them, was schetched bc I went to a home location, (not knocking but wasn't what I expected) and I was led on to believe there was an actual store front location. After I handed the cash over , didn't recieve a reciept or any information on the panels. And was told multiple times I'd recieve this information, yet a week later still nothing. Not to mention, the panels are not putting out even 1/16th what they claim to. Now I can't even get a response.

Nick and his team got the job done! We bought our home with panels already installed by Midwest, and even though the job was done in 2019, Nick took the time to come over and get us set up on the app so we could see out panels production live. We later ran into a small issue with the inverter, where I call SMA (the inverter company) and they ended up helping my inverter produce an error code and shut down. I called Nick and he came out the next morning and had it up and running in just a few minutes. I'm not sure how anyone with negative comments had those experiences, but after multiple conve

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
