I spent over 20k 5 years ago with this company, installing panels and a back up battery system. Although the panels generate power the 6k battery back up fails anytime the power goes out and numerous attempts over the last 3 years have resulted in no help from NM Solar warranting this issue.

Very very poor follow through, we decided to go with them after their presentation, we did not hear back from them when they said they would call, I finally called and they said they had tried to reach us, no message left, really? Then they decided to gives us a discount for the hassle, guess what, they never followed through with that either. They said we only had two days to sign the contract as there financing was changing, we never got the contract and kept trying to contact them even giving our landline number! I feel insulted by the whole deal. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise.

Installation took 6 months. Never answers their phones. Tax credit is cap. And we still have an electric bill and they guaranteed we wouldnt. Scam artists

NM solar group was great at the beginning. They installed my solar panels and did a great job. However they promote all the tax credits that the federal government and State of New Mexico offer , but when the time comes they do not give you the certificate required by the state to take advantage of the incentives!! I have been waiting for over 7 months and I still have not been given an answer or spoken to someone who can help me. For any one thinking about using this company make sure you do your research!! They are a very disorganized company in my opinion

I had New Mexico solar install solar panels on my house and I had gotten a price before I met Michelle and it was significantly higher. When I met Michelle she assured me she could do better but I was doubtful but she actually made it very affordable for me. After my panels were installed I had several issues with my system and I felt like I was getting the run around but when I talked to her she assured me that my issues would be resolved. She definitely delivered. She is the meaning of Customer service and because of her I would definitely recommend New Mexico solar. Thank you Michelle for a

My parents needed to replace an inverter under under warranty and I, their son, acted on their behalf to get us fixed. After a bit of looking I decided to go with NMSG. They were simply amazing. Very respectful staff. I had the pleasure of …

Topics Google derives from the review text, with how often each appears. A frequent topic is not a good one: “price” turns up in praise and in complaints alike.

Elsewhere

  • It is also reviewed on the Better Business Bureau and Yelp. Worth reading before you sign anything: those are a different crowd, and the complaints that reach the Better Business Bureau rarely reach Google.

Ordered by how much we can tell you about each, which is not an order of quality. We do not know which of these is better and would not say if we did.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
