Its one and two star share is 1 point below the typical installer in Michigan. Across Michigan, 46 of the 84 installers whose breakdown Google has published carry a higher share than this one.

The percentages are Google’s own arithmetic over every review it holds, not a sample we assembled. Separately we hold 102 review texts for this company, quoted below. Google publishes review ages rather than dates, so every date here is approximate.

Prior to me realizing my roof was damaged, I would have given 5 stars. They’re great at being fake. I contacted them last month when I noticed my garage roof (that is situated directly beneath the solar panels) is leaking. I called Northcoast to come out and do an inspection and they acted like it was an inconvenience and told me to hire my own roof inspector. They tried to act not at fault and denied causing damage. Reluctantly, they told me they would be out within the week to check it out. Nobody showed up. I have since then had my own roof inspection done and was told the leaking was the d

ABSOLUTE SCAM STOLE OVER 10k AND SWINDLED MY DAD OUT OF HIS LOAN AND NEVER INSTALLED THE SOLAR PANELS. We have tried repeatedly, for months to contact someone here and their “partners” but never get back to us. BEWARE

North Coast Solar, over a hundred 5 star reviews? You’ll understand why if you ever have the privilege of using them for a solar install. From the very start honesty and integrity. Throughout the process from design and permits to inspections and installation Jimmy and Eric kept me informed of every step of the way. The install team were prompt, polite and efficient. Well after the sale, Jimmy came to the house to make sure we were satisfied with the system and helped explain our consumers energy billing and credits. So from the zero pressure initial meeting to care after the sale they truly d

North Coast worked miracles to get our time sensitive project done in time and within budget. Their communication with Consumers Energy, our Electrical Inspector, and building inspector was outstanding. They kept us fully informed constantly. 100% satisfied.

North Coast Solar has been amazing from the start. One of the owners came to my house to discuss everything solar, took the time to answer questions and re-explain anything I didn't understand. I then had one project manager that keep me in the loop, gave me a heads up in what to expect next and answer my questions. The guys that came out to do the install we all wonderful as well. Very polite and friendly and explained what they were doing and why and gave me a run down on how things worked. I'm so happy we chose North Coast!

Who Google shows alongside them

Google’s own “people also viewed” set, in Google’s order. It is Google’s comparison, not ours.

The ones without a link have no page here, either because Google does not categorise them as solar businesses or because we could not match the name to a listing with confidence.

What we don't know

  • The date above is the newest review we hold, which is not necessarily the newest that exists — we hold a large share of Google's reviews, not all of them.
  • We found nothing on a website for this company that states a warranty, a licence or how long it has traded.
  • We do not verify licences, insurance or bonding. Nothing here has been checked against a state licensing board.
  • We cannot tell you what an installation costs, and we hold nothing about the equipment they fit.
